Summer Spa Series|| Knit Washcloth

Thursday, July 14, 2016

It's time for the second installment in my summer spa series! (If you missed the first pattern, you can find it here) Up next are these beautiful, knit washcloths. I wanted them to be as soft as possible, so I used 100% cotton and made the fabric very loose and lacy. I love how they turned out and cannot wait to put them to good use!

We've been in our home almost a year now and are slowing continuing to decorate and personalize the place. I recently finished working on my craft space (see the sneak peek here) and am turning my eyes to the rest of the house. The items on this month's wishlist are things I would LOVE to add to my home!

Knit || How adorable are these knit planters from The Merrythought?? I've been on a bit of a succulent kick lately and am loving how they look wrapped in yarn!

Summer Spa Series || Crochet Twine Basket

Crochet Basket Pattern

In my opinion, there is nothing more relaxing than a little bit of pampering. Bubble bath? Yes please. Mani/pedi? Of course! Weird DIY face masks? Yup. My love of pampering is the inspiration behind this new summer series and I am so excited to get started! For the next two weeks, I will be sharing a couple of free, spa-day inspired projects!

First in the line-up is this crochet twine basket! Since I wanted the basket to be sturdy, I decided to try something new and crochet with cotton twine. I love the way it turned out! I just finished it yesterday, and am already putting it to good use as a bath bomb container! :)
